Earlier this month, the ILAC Higher Education team travelled to Mumbai to discuss student success and responsible recruitment with agents from India, Nepal and Bangladesh.
Co-hosted by Fanshawe College and Georgian College with the support of Simplii Financial (CIBC), the CPF Partner Appreciation event featured 70 educational partners from across the region.
"The goal of the event was to bring together our valuable partners in the market and share some of our stories," says Magda Link, Vice President of Higher Education at ILAC . "We wanted to ensure that through our collaborative approach our students are supported from the very start of their journey."
Held at the luxurious Taj Mahal Hotel in Santa Cruz, Mumbai, the event featured presentations, discussions and networking.
"Doing this together with Fanshawe College and Georgian College was a fantastic experience for everyone," says Magda. "Meeting and learning from our partners is the best way to improve the international student experience in Canada."
