CPF & APF Code of Conduct

CPF & APF are dedicated to providing a safe, positive and inclusive event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ability, physical appearance, age, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, age or religion.

 

CPF & APF do not tolerate harassment or violence at its events in any form, including:

  • Demeaning, discriminatory, insulting, intimidating, abusive or threatening behaviour and speech, in person or online

  • Disruptive behaviour or prejudicial verbal or written comments during and between sessions, whether in person or online

  • Inappropriate and unwelcome physical or sexual contact and attention, in person or online

If someone makes you or anyone else feel unsafe or unwelcome at CPF & APF, or if you witness unacceptable behavior, please inform the CPF & APF team immediately. CPF & APF staff will listen to you and refer you if necessary to the hotel/event security or appropriate local law enforcement.

If you or another event participant witness or experience physical danger or distress, immediately alert the appropriate local law enforcement or emergency medical authorities.

This Code applies to all CPF & APF delegates at all CPF & APF events, including regional, online and annual conferences and related social activities at each event.

If a participant engages in harassing or violent behaviour CPF & APF will take any action we deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from CPF & APF with no refund.
