Starting November 30, 2021, Canada will expand its list of COVID-19 vaccines for international travellers to be considered fully vaccinated. The new list will include Sinopharm, Sinovac (Coronavac) and COVAXIN, matching the World Health Organization (WHO). All international students are eligible to enter Canada if they qualify as fully vaccinated. To be considered fully vaccinated, international students must have received the full series of a vaccine—or combination of vaccines—accepted by the Government of Canada at least 14 days prior to entering Canada. Fully vaccinated travellers do not have to quarantine. Students can receive their vaccine in any country and must upload their proof of vaccination in English or French into the ArriveCAN app before coming to Canada.
