At the start of the fall recruitment season, ILAC hosted the Canada Partnership Forum in Mexico City. The event took place at the gorgeous St. Regis Hotel in the heart of the capital. This luxurious venue is one of the tallest buildings in the city and is located on the famous Paseo de la Reforma Boulevard, steps from local attractions.
Nearly 200 delegates joined us for this exciting day of learning and networking. The event was hosted in partnership with Fleming College, Flywire, Hermes Colleges and Edvisor, and featured industry updates from Sheridan College, Niagara College, Algonquin College, Georgian College, Yorkville University, Seneca College, Amerigo, VCC, Fanshawe College, Yorkville University
The event began with a welcome speech from the Embassy of Canada to Mexico, followed by opening remarks from ILAC Chairman, Jonathan Kolber. Delegates received updates on ILAC International College, ILAC Higher Ed, the Agent Portal, Tamwood, and the Canada Employment Forum.
A panel discussion followed, featuring Georgian College, Fanshawe College & ILAC Higher Education. Afterwards, guests were invited to join concurrent breakout sessions with all of the attending colleges and universities, which concluded at 7pm.
Finally, after a long day of meaningful discussions, delegates reconvened at the evening networking reception hosted by Fleming College, where they enjoyed refreshments and mingled with colleagues.
