Earlier this year, ILAC hosted its biggest Canada Partnership Forum (CPF) ever in Vancouver, British Columbia. Every spring, the annual CPF event is held right before ICEF Canada in either Toronto or Vancouver.
Almost 500 delegates from around the world and across Canada came together for CPF Vancouver, including university and college partners, international agents, industry leaders and ILAC pathway and global sales teams.
The theme of CPF Vancouver 2023 was “a new dawn of partnerships” - a fresh perspective on a familiar idea that working with others is the best way to get things done. Participants at CPF discussed new ways to support and learn from each other to make it easier for students to come to Canada.
Each university and college had their own branded classroom to train agents, promote their programs, provide expertise on market trends and develop new pathways for recruitment.
The networking breaks and evening social events were a time for telling interesting stories, laughing at shared experiences, reminiscing about colleagues from days gone by...and of course, dancing!
After CPF Vancouver, over 250 agents joined the Post-CPF Whistler trip. The VIP experience included 5-star luxury accommodations, skiing and sightseeing in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Delegates who had never skied before received personal lessons and everyone had a chance to explore beautiful Whistler Village.
