This past fall, ILAC hosted the Canada Partnership Forum in Bangkok, Thailand. The event took place at the gorgeous St. Regis Hotel, located in the heart of the city's financial district.
Over 100 delegates joined us to learn more about why Thailand is one of the fastest growing pathway markets. With a population of nearly 70 million and the 25th‑largest economy in the world, Thailand is one of the top markets in an increasingly important region for Canadian companies.
Thompson Rivers University, Centennial College, Capilano University, SAIT, Douglas College, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Fanshawe College, VCC, New York Institute of Technology and Georgian College provided updates on their programs and opportunities for Thai students in Canada.
The day began with an official welcome from Sanjeev Chowdhury, Canadian Senior Trade Commissioner for in Bangkok, followed by a high level update from the ILAC Education Group.
Our college and university partners presented on new programs and held individual meetings between sessions.
Finally, we closed the day out with a panel discussion with Georgian College, Fanshawe Collegeand ILAC Higher Education.
